Thanks so much to everyone who filled out the survey on Facebook – the votes are in and our next Parents Night Out will be on Saturday, 7th June! We’ll be heading out to see Come From Away at Albury Entertainment Centre, the show starts at 7:30pm and runs for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Depending on babysitting arrangements, we’re planning to grab a drink afterwards for anyone keen to continue the night. It’s a great chance to relax, reconnect, and enjoy some grown-up time together! 🎟 Tickets are $45 each if we book as a group of 8 or more, we are happy to organise the booking to secure the group discount. If you (and your partner) are planning to come, just reply to this email and let us know. Once numbers are finalised, we'll confirm the total amount and share payment details for the HRMBA bank account. Looking forward to a fun night out – hope you can make it!

Join us for playgroup at the Kinchington Estate Playground in Leneva! It looks like a great spot for kids to play and parents to connect and the playground is partially fenced There’s no café or coffee nearby, so be sure to grab one on the way. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us at Noreuil Park for a catchup! Kids can play on the contained playground, coffees and snacks are on hand from River Deck Cafe. One of our lovely members has kindly volunteered her time and photography skills to take some beautiful snaps for our social media pages!  We’d love to see as many members as possible come along and be part of it — especially those who are happy for their child/ren to be featured in our photos. Bring the kids, a snack (or get one from Riverdeck Cafe), and a picnic rug — it’s super relaxed and everyone’s welcome.  Catch up with other parents, let the little ones run wild, and enjoy a morning by the river. 🌞

We’re getting together at Turtle Park on Saturday, April 12th, from 2:00 PM for an afternoon of connection, laughter, and celebration. 🌸 What’s Happening? 🐰 Easter Egg Hunt – A special treat for the little ones! 🍎 Snacks & Nibbles – Light refreshments provided. 🚴‍♂️ Bring the Fun – Scooters, bikes, and balls welcome! There’s plenty of space for kids to play and for prams to roll with ease. This is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with other multiple birth families, share stories, and let the kids burn off some energy in a relaxed and friendly setting. Join Us for a Multiple Birth Families Meet-Up at Albury Parkrun! We’re excited to invite you and your family to a special Multiple Birth Families Meet-Up as part of Multiple Birth Awareness Week 2025! This year’s theme, “Let’s Make It a Good Start,” focuses on supporting families of multiples from the very beginning. What better way to celebrate than coming together for a fun, active morning at Parkrun? Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this is a great opportunity to meet other multiple birth families and be part of a supportive community. Everyone is welcome—parents, grandparents, siblings, and, of course, all the little multiples! If you’re new to Parkrun, don’t worry—it’s a free, family-friendly event, and registration is easy - https://www.parkrun.com.au/register/ Following parkrun we will be heading to Nouriel Park for a coffee and play. Join us for our multiples expectant parents session, it will be held in person and open to anyone pregnant with twins, triplets or more and partner/support person. Our session will be facilitated by Abby, our wonderful committee member who has twins and has been on the committee for 10+ years and is a midwife. We will also have some other members there to share their personal experiences. We will provide some nibbles, tea/coffee and soft drinks. Please share with anyone you know is expecting multiples. We are running this session during MBAW - Multiple Birth Awareness Week, the theme of MBAW 2025 is 'Lets Make it a Good Start', to honour this theme we are running this session as expectant parents sessions helps to give your multiples journey a good start. The information shared prepares you for pregnancy, birth and beyond, and gives you a chance to connect to your local multiple birth community which is so important especially once the babies are born, we will also discuss what other events HRMBA runs. Please RSVP by Monday 17th for catering purposes. We hope you can join us!

Join us at Hyphen Library for a catchup! Storytime is at 10:30am and is geared towards 0-18 months, but all ages are welcome. Families are also invited to stay once storytime finishes and use the space to play and connect. There's plenty of toys for the kids to use, and parents can chat with each other while the kids play. Tea and coffee is available for free in the kitchenette near the toilets, or you can grab a coffee and a snack from Ploughmans just across from Hyphen.
